What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device to recognise it between pages and visits. They are used to make the website work, to remember your preferences and, when you allow it, to understand how it is used.
Your choice
On your first visit a notice appears where you can accept or refuse. Refusing is as easy as accepting, and nothing beyond what is strictly necessary is switched on without an action from you.
Your choice is stored for 12 months and can be changed at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer of every page.
Strictly necessary cookies
They are essential for the website to work and do not require consent.
- brinquinho_consent — stores the choice you made in this notice, so you are not asked again. Duration: 12 months.
- brinquinho_session — identifies the session of people signing in to the School's management area. It only exists for those with an account. Duration: the session.
- brinquinho_csrf — protects the management area's forms against forged requests from other websites. Duration: the session.
Statistics cookies
They are only set if you allow them. They tell us which pages are viewed most and how visitors reach the website, always as aggregate figures.
- _ga and _ga_<identifier> — Google Analytics, from Google Ireland Limited. Duration: 2 years.
The IP address is collected in anonymised form. If you refuse, Google Analytics is not loaded at all — not merely switched off after loading.
Preferences and marketing
The notice also shows these two categories, but the website does not currently use any cookies of these types. If it ever does, this policy will be updated and your consent asked for again.
Managing cookies in your browser
Besides this website's preferences, you can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Note that blocking the strictly necessary ones may stop parts of the website from working.
More information
The processing of data linked to these cookies is described in the Privacy Policy.
