Garden, vegetable plot and animals — every day, at every age.
Three areas, one way of learning
The Educational Farm is shared by the children of the nursery, the kindergarten and the primary school. It joins the fun to a pedagogical and affective purpose, teaching in practice what nature, sustainability and responsibility are.
What we do on the farm
Garden
The children learn to tend the flowers, to sow and to plant, in pots and in beds.
Vegetable plot
Organic beds where they prepare the soil, grow and harvest vegetables for the school meals. Composting included, for natural fertiliser.
Animals
Rabbits, ducks, hens, quail, guinea pigs, Vietnamese pot-bellied pigs, goats, sheep, dogs, cats, tortoises and birds. The children see to their cleaning, their feeding and their care.
